Sample size assistant Beta
Paste your topic, aim and objectives. The assistant checks them, finds similar published studies, copies their numbers, checks each number against the paper, and works out your sample size from every study it can use.
Working on your sample size

- Searching PubMed through Europe PMC
- Reading the abstracts
- Checking every number against the papers

How it works: Claude, an AI model, reads your topic and the abstracts and copies numbers. It never supplies a number of its own. Each copied number is accepted only if the quoted sentence appears word for word in the abstract and contains that number. All calculations use the same tested formulas as the calculator.
Check the design, the chosen study and the final number with your guide before you submit.
